How should an energy gum brand kick-start the year? The answer is simple. Find an old toilet block in the middle of London, fill it with chewing gum, some Lego, two nude models, write some kick-ass lines to get people motivated then see what happens. Well that’s what we did anyway.

Energy chewing gum brand Blockhead, enables people to do things and do them well, so we wanted to give our followers the opportunity to kick-start their year the best way they could. BLOCKHEAD Basecamp ran over four big days in January and was located in an old repurposed, Victorian bathroom in the heart of London.

The playful copy-led campaign leading up to the event, was a play on cliche motivational lines like “new year, new you” that seem to creep into your social media feed at that time of year.
